Privacy notice

When you order, Stripe collects your name, delivery address and email address on its checkout page, and any text you ask us to engrave, and passes them to us. We use them to send your order and to email you about it. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you.

Your card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page and are never sent to us.

If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering it.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or advertising, and we never sell it.

Stripe Payments Europe, Limited processes the payment and holds the order details.

CTT, the Portuguese postal service, receives your name and delivery address.

Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.

Sentry receives the error reports, and the recordings that go with them, described below.

We do not share your data with anyone else.

The seller is registered in the United Kingdom, so your data is processed there under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the UK. Sentry keeps the error reports and recordings in its European data region. Vercel’s server logs are held outside the EEA under the safeguards in its own data processing agreement.

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. Correspondence that does not lead to an order is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Error reports and the recordings attached to them are deleted automatically on Sentry’s own retention schedule. We do not copy them anywhere else.

This website sets no cookies. Your light or dark mode choice is stored in your browser only. Visits, clicks on the order button, how far down the page you scroll, and whether your browser is set to Portuguese, English or another language are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you. Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies under Stripe’s privacy policy.

If a page of ours runs into an error, we send Sentry a report of it together with a recording of the minute before it happened — your scrolling and clicks on our own pages — so that we can see what went wrong. When nothing breaks, nothing is sent: the recording is kept in your own browser and discarded. Your name, address, email address and card details are entered on Stripe’s page, which is not ours and is never recorded. Sentry stores a recording identifier in your browser and your IP address with the report. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a site that works, and you can object to it by emailing us.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to our processing it, by emailing hello@padelholder.com. We will respond within one month. We may have to keep records that tax law requires us to keep.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, where the seller is registered, or to the data protection authority in your own country.
