Padel Holder

The short version

We ask for what is needed to post you a holder, and nothing else. There is no account, no newsletter, no advertising, no profiling, and nothing is sold or shared for anyone else to market to you. This website has no form on it and sets no tracking cookie.

Who is responsible for your data

Padel Holder is made by two people in Lisbon, Portugal. The registered details of the seller are being settled and will be published here before any order is taken through this site. Until then, orders are arranged by email at hello@padelholder.com.

What we collect, and why

Your name, delivery address and email address, when you buy one. You give these to Stripe on its checkout page, and we read them from our Stripe dashboard so we can address the packet and email you about the order. The legal basis is performing the contract you entered into.

Your card details never reach us. They go to Stripe and stay there. We could not see a card number if we wanted to.

Anything you write to us. If you email hello@padelholder.com we keep the thread so we can carry on the conversation, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.

Who else sees it

Stripe Payments Europe, Limited runs the checkout and the payment, and holds the order details.

CTT, the Portuguese post, gets your name and address because they are written on the packet.

Vercel hosts this website, and its servers log requests to it in the ordinary way a web server does.

Nobody else. There is no analytics vendor, no advertising network and no mailing list.

How long we keep it

Records of a sale are kept for as long as Portuguese tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, and then deleted. Email threads that did not lead to an order are deleted once they are no longer useful to either of us.

Cookies and counting visits

This site sets no cookie. If you change the light or dark setting, that choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

We count visits and clicks on the order button using Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it records that a page was viewed, not who viewed it, and builds no profile across sites. Stripe checkout is a separate page on Stripe’s domain and sets its own cookies under its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive it in a portable form, or to object to our using it. Email hello@padelholder.com and we will answer within a month. There is nothing to pay and you do not need a reason.

Deleting everything is usually possible, with one exception: where tax law requires us to keep a record of a sale, we have to keep that record.

If we get it wrong you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD, or to the equivalent authority in the EU country you live in.
